1 page intro

El Agave is the Mexican Restaurant on Main Street in Montevallo, Alabama. The building is yellow with beautiful artwork, a row of windows, and green ivy on the top. Inside you will find a quaint seating area, yellow and green walls, and authentic Latin décor. The flat-screen televisions have a continuous stream of sports shows. Latin music fills the air with a wide variety of genres. Waiters enthusiastically greet customers with a smile, a menu, and a fun Spanish accent.

After visiting El Agave, we have decided to judge the restaurant on these criteria: atmosphere, food quality, and sanitation. The restaurant is homey and small but not cramped. The decorations are bright and authentic. There are interesting paintings and a bull fighter’s uniform on the walls. The servers are energetic and quick to do their jobs while engaging in happy conversation with their customers. Chips and salsa are given for customers to munch on while perusing the menu. El Agave’s menu is expansive and includes a kids’ menu, twenty- one years and over menu, a seafood section, and a vegetarian section. After a short wait huge portions of delicious food are delivered. The restaurant is clean except for an old, scuffed, and cracking floor.

Overall the restaurant is a casual, well-priced eatery with delectable food, and excellent service. We rate El Agave as an eight out of ten.
