Meal Description

All meals come with chips and salsa, served before the meal. The chips were of good quality and the salsa was a good mixture of fresh tomato chunkiness and liquid. Depending on the bite of chip and salsa, one might think it too spicy. These precursors were brought out and replenished promptly.

After ordering off the vast and widely varied menu, and having only waited thirteen minutes, my meal arrived: A # 41) A cheese quesadilla and a chicken chimichanga, served with an abundance of lettuce (enough to make a side salad), sour cream, tomato (which I ordered without) and cheese dip. An adequate amount of cheese dip was given in a container separate from the rest of the food. The dip was smooth, rich, and warm with the perfect consistency. The salad and sour cream were fresh and cold. The cheese quesadilla had the perfect amount of cheese that was wrapped in a soft, grilled, tasty shell. The large chimichanga was fried to perfection and was crispy and slightly sweet. The tender shredded grilled chicken definitely did its job in filling up the taco.

I left El Agave very full and satisfied with over half of the chimichanga and some cheese dip. My meal cost $7.80 (including the coke and without tax).
